3 MORE TROPICAL EGRETS by M. Devoe

 

This one is being offered by ebay seller doogerbear with an opening bid of $222.00.  It measures 34" x 28".  Very similar to the Devoe painting below:

But just enough differences to be unique.  Another Devoe masterpiece.

TWO TROPICAL CRANES IN ORIGINAL MIRRORED FRAME by M. Devoe

This is a gorgeous painting of two tropical cranes (or egrets) by M. Devoe in the original mirrored frame.  It is being offered by ebay seller john316antiques with an opening bid of $375.00.  The painting measures 24" x 30"; framed it measures 28" x 34".  

It looks very similar to one of my own M. Devoe paintings:

But, as always there are minor differences between the two.

The Seller says this one is "Just stunning" and I agree.

MCM ORANGE EGRET by M. Devoe

This painting of an egret by M. Devoe is significantly different than the others - specifically the orange color Devoe used this time.  Unusual and beautiful, this one is being offered by ebay seller ant.junkie for a starting bid of $85.00.

The inside frame measurement is 14" x 18"; frame width is 1 1/2".

2 MCM EGRETS - by M. Devoe

This one is being offered as a "50s MCM Original Painting Signed," by ricot-susa for $375.00 "Buy it Now".  The painting framed is 38" x 24"; the painting alone measures 29 1/2" x 23 3/8". The painting is signed in lower right hand corner. There is a foil sticker on the outside of the glass that reads, "Watercolor by an American Artist".

Offered again in June of 2016 for $325.00 "Buy it Now."

It looks to be the same painting offered in 2013 by Rhode Island Internet Consignment and Sales but a closer examination does note a few minor differences.  

Unlike the MCM offering, the Rhode Island painting was not signed. It did not sell when it was offered.  Maybe the seller of the signed painting will have better luck.
